Metal Company Broersen has been founded in 1910. Our family company has developed strongly through the years. Where in the old days the old iron was collected going from house to house with a handcar, nowadays this happens with modern trucks. With almost a century in experience, metal recycling is really our forte and can we give you tailor-made advice.

Our services consist of disassembling, transport, storage, processing of old metals and project management. In 2004 we were the first scrap business in the Netherlands to get VCA** certified. We are very proud of that certification and that makes Metal company Broersen your reliable partner in metal recycling.

Metal Company Broersen does more than just the processing of metal waste

Besides the intake of all sorts of metal we offer our customers the service of using our collection containers. Use of these containers is free and when the container is full, it will be replaced by an empty one.

We offer you a total package of services. From disassembling (demolition), transport, storage to the processing of metals. For specific disassembling projects we exclusively work with certified and experienced subcontractors who also take care of the removal of asbestos. All under the supervision of Broersen and of course with the same high safety standards that we use.

Every assignment has its specific approach.

Together we talk about the possibilities to do the job as efficient as possible. During this meeting we also discuss location, safety on the spot, the machines used and the possible risks. On the basis of these data we make a price proposal and make the right planning for the job.

When we use a specialized partner we stay the main contractor and we take care of the business from beginning to end.

Metal recycling is more than just the removal of metal waste.

It sometimes takes more than just the collecting of a load with the truck when it comes to metal waste disposal. The object often has to be dismantled on site before it can or may be transported. For certain projects we use specialized partners with whom we have been doing business for years. When it comes to a project with multiple people/sub contractors or when there are specific risks, we first draw up a V&G plan. V stands for Veiligheid/safety, G stands for Gezondheid/health and Milieu/environment. We go through this V&G plan with the employer and before the start of the activities presented to all the participants. This way everybody knows the risks and can the special safety demands be followed.

We take care of everything for you.

 Due to the geographical position of our company we do a lot with the unloading and bulk transport of ships. The contents of these containers are processed immediately so the waiting time is limited to a minimum.

There is also the possibility to unload big amounts of containers and store them for a certain amount of time so the ship doesn’t need to wait for the processing of the contents. We take care of everything for you! Also the collecting of big lots old-iron, rails, old pumps or whatever you have to transport.

Besides our own trucks we frequently use regular transporters. In case our own trucks aren’t optimum suited for a specific job we don’t have to sell ‘no’ but we call in our partners.

We work fast and flexible at a project but the safety of you and our people is most important.

That is why all our employees are VCA trained and -certified and also as a company we have the VCA mark to meet all the safety- and environment demands during the activities. Since September 2004 our company has our 2 stars VCA. Our systems, way of working and guaranty of safety have proven to be reliable.
